About Juan Rodriguez
Illustrator and Book Cover Artist: I Wonder What It’s Like To Be

Juan Rodriguez is an illustrator/graphic designer based in New York City. He has worked in the advertising and print industry for nearly 20 years, and is currently employed as a digital specialist at Macfadden Publications in NYC. There, he works on a variety of projects, including illustrations, logo designs and the preparation and layout of digital publications.

With regard to children’s book illustration, Juan finds inspiration from his everyday life, especially with his family and friends. He has this to say about one of the inspirations for I Wonder What It’s Like To Be: “I love watching my youngest son playing and interacting with his older siblings. Drawing as though I’m seeing the world through his eyes is really an enjoyable experience.”
